Billing Terms
This page exists so that nothing about your payment is a surprise. It sets out the amount, the frequency, the descriptor that will appear on your statement, and the one-click route to stop it. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

How the charge appears on your statement
Your card or bank statement will show:
SORAYALIVE.COM
We chose that descriptor deliberately: it is identical to the website you bought from. A great many billing disputes happen simply because someone cannot connect a charge on a statement to a purchase they made three months earlier. Matching the descriptor to the domain means you can recognise it, or search for it, and land straight back here.
If you see a charge attributed to us under any other name, it is not ours. Please tell us at [email protected] straight away so we can help you investigate.
How we take your consent
Before you enter any card details, the payment page shows you, in plain language and next to the button you are about to press:
- the exact amount of the first charge;
- the exact amount and frequency of every charge after that;
- that the membership renews automatically until you cancel;
- that you can cancel online in one click at any time;
- the statement descriptor that will appear.
You then tick a consent box that is not pre-ticked. Nothing is bundled into it and nothing is hidden behind a link. We record the timestamp, your IP address and the exact version of the terms displayed to you, and we keep that record for at least three years, or one year after you cancel, whichever is longer. If you ever want to see your own consent record, ask us and we will send it to you.
Receipts and notifications
We email you:
- An enrolment confirmation immediately when you subscribe, showing the merchant name and address, what you bought, the amount, the date, the last four digits of the card used, the full recurring terms, and how to cancel.
- A receipt after every charge, with the same information.
- A notice after every failed charge, explaining what happened and what we will do next.
- At least 30 days’ notice of any price change affecting your membership, before it takes effect.
- A confirmation when you cancel, stating that no further charges will be taken.
If you are not receiving these, check your spam folder and then contact [email protected] — a membership you cannot see receipts for is a problem we want to fix.
When a payment fails
Cards get reissued, expire and occasionally decline for reasons that have nothing to do with you. If a renewal fails:
- We email you immediately with the reason, where the card issuer gives us one.
- We retry a limited number of times over the following days.
- We may use the card networks’ account-updater services (Visa Account Updater, Mastercard Automatic Billing Updater) so that a reissued card does not break your membership.
- If it still cannot be collected, we suspend access and then close the membership. We do not send unpaid balances to debt collection.
Cancelling
Sign in, open Account → Membership → Cancel, confirm. That is the entire process.
We commit to the following, and consider them non-negotiable:
- Cancelling online takes no more steps than signing up took.
- We will never require a phone call to cancel a membership bought online.
- There is no retention agent, no mandatory survey, and no offer you must decline before the cancel button works.
- Cancellation takes effect immediately and is confirmed by email.
- If you would rather we did it for you, email [email protected] from your registered address and we will.
Card security
Your card details are entered directly into a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor and are never transmitted to or stored on our own systems. Ad Management Services does not receive, see or retain your full card number, and cannot use it for anything other than the membership you agreed to. We store only the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, so that you can recognise your own payment method in your account.
All pages that handle payment information are served over TLS. Our full data-handling practices are set out in the Privacy Policy.
If you do not recognise a charge
Please come to us first.
Email [email protected] with the date and amount. We will identify the transaction, tell you exactly what it was for, and refund it if it should not have been taken — in most cases the same day. That is materially faster for you than a card dispute, which typically takes weeks to resolve.
If you have already raised a dispute with your bank, tell us anyway. We will work with your issuer to get it resolved, and if the charge was genuinely ours to refund we will not contest it.
